The Groves Inn boasts a fantastic central location overlooking the market square, also putting guests within easy reach of the train station, castle, and scenic riverside area. Guests consistently praise the clean and spacious rooms, complete with en-suite bathrooms and generous hospitality trays that include biscuits or even a Twix. some issues

stained teaspoons insufficient toilet roll
The room felt a little unclean. i noticed stained teaspoons and glasses. there was also only one toilet roll, which wasn't enough. the bathroom heater made the room too hot. We had to open the windows. but that didn't really help cool things down.

A mixed bag. Issues with cleanliness

dirty mugs missing toilet roll
The location was acceptable.
The room was not clean. Mugs had old tea stains and a glass had lipstick marks. The bathroom heater was hot. It made the room unbearable even with windows open. Only one toilet roll was supplied, and it wasn't even new.

The mugs had a bit of tea water in them. one of the glasses had lipstick stain marks on it, i noticed. teaspoons also looked stained and dirty. They obviously hadn't been washed. there was only 1 toilet roll. It wasn't new. i think there should have been at least one extra.
